How can you help?

We need sponsorship to purchase Community First Responder Kits which cost approximately £1650 each. We are also looking for more volunteers to extend our coverage to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact us by emailing info@bacfrs.org.uk if you can help!

How can we help you?

If you live within our coverage area and you call 999 our First Responders can be despatched to you at the same time as an Ambulance. As we are based within your local community, we are best located to offer immediate care. We will be equipped with all the necessary skills and equipment to assist you until the Ambulance arrives.

For more detailed information about the vital contribution that Community First Responders make please view the CFR information leaflet. (This is a pdf document - please visit www.adobe.com and download the reader software).

We are a newly established team of Community First Responders.

“Based locally, trained by and working in partnership with South East Coast Ambulance Service, CFR volunteers provide emergency medical assistance to life threatening incidents until an Ambulance arrives.”

Our volunteers serve the community of Bolney, West Sussex and the surrounding three mile radius including the communities of Twineham, Wineham, Warninglid, Hickstead, Cuckfield Rural, Slaugham, Crabtree and Cowfold.

We are now actively responding!
